We took Henry to see Santa Claus one evening... he seemed a bit unimpressed with all the hub-bub. Ha! Not even a hint of a smile out of him. It was lots of fun for Jared and I though!

Quick Trip to Auburn
Last week my family came to town and it was action packed! We took a little trip down to Auburn, Alabama and had lunch, went shopping, and took a little walk around the campus. I captured some pictures of my dad and sister with Henry.
Stay tuned for Henry's pictures with Santa.... ho ho ho!

Movin' & Groovin'
It has been a pretty rainy week so far, so Henry and I have been playing inside a lot these days. Today I tried getting some fun playtime pictures and he was rolling all over the place! And last night he was on all fours! He didnt quite know what to do from there but I know it is only a matter of days until I am chasing him all over the house. Also I was DETERMINED to get a picture of those two cute little bottom teeth he now has and I was successful!

Half a Year
My little fella is going to be 6 months old tomorrow! WOW, has time flown by and last night I was looking at pictures from each month (birth through now) and the changes and achievements he has accomplished since birth is truly incredible! I had absolutely NO clue that I would fall head over heels in love with a short fat toothless bald man.
Speaking of toothless, Henry actually has not one by 2 little bottom teeth coming in! I noticed the first one on October 28 while running my finger across his gums and OUCH, there it was just poking through his little gums. Another accomplishment (for me rather), I have finally put him in the church nursery and also our bible study childcare! I chickened out once or twice but finally was able to make the plunge 2 weeks ago! He did great of course! Henry LOVES other children! He smiles and reaches out to touch them, it's so sweet.
And finally I know that I wrote about how much he LOVES solids in my last blog, but this child cant get enough! Everything I have fed him he eats with gusto! Green beans, avocado, banana, apple, pears, zucchini, sweet potato, and carrots. I am so happy that I have such a good little eater! I have also started teaching him how to hold and drink out of a cup which he loves his little sips of cold water!

October Milestones.
I have been so bad about posting on the blog this month, but I have gotten many cute pictures! Here are a few from the month....
Henry has achieved some BIG milestones this month. He now sits up while playing on the floor with a little bit of assistance from a pillow. He has discovered that he LOVES solid food; pureed apples and pears, sweet potatoes, and green beans so far! Whenever it is "eatin" time he gets really excited and leans forward in his high chair with mouth wide open. And if you dont get that spoon in there fast enough for him he will start to fuss. Finally, he can now roll front to back and back to front! So BIG things are happening over here at the Dockendorf mansion.

CeLes came to town.
Last week was great, my sis came to visit me and the fam. It was so wonderful having her here, except that it just reminds me of how much I really miss her. Henry and I both came down with a cold which was a bummer and the weather decided to rain a lot, but nevertheless we had fun! We cooked and baked and played with Henry... it was Jared's dream. Ha! We bundled up the babe and headed to the local pumpkin patch to take some pictures.... here are some cute ones from the patch.
| sorry it is so blurry -- I thought it was kinda funny. |

Toes.
Wow, I hadn't realized how much time I had let lapse since my last post. Definitely time to post some new pictures and updates. I wish I could say there has been so much activity over here with the Dockendorf gang that I havent had time but sadly that isnt the case.... There isnt too much going on different from the last posting.
Henry has achieved some new accomplishments however... He has discovered his feet!!! And like most everything else these days, those are also going right into his mouth. Ha! We have tried introducing solids to him but he just hasnt seemed interested enough in the new textures to swallow the food, instead he makes this sour face and spits it out. So I have decided to hold off a bit longer on the food. His teething seems to have backed off for the time being which is good-- that was really taking a toll on him and mama.
As far as what is new with me, well I have been fitting more sewing time in which I thoroughly enjoy and gives me some decompressing time. I have been building up my "inventory" for an event that my good girlfriend is having in Fort Collins at the end of the month. And like I promised here are some recent pictures of the little turkey.
