October Milestones.

I have been so bad about posting on the blog this month, but I have gotten many cute pictures! Here are a few from the month....

Henry has achieved some BIG milestones this month. He now sits up while playing on the floor with a little bit of assistance from a pillow. He has discovered that he LOVES solid food; pureed apples and pears, sweet potatoes, and green beans so far! Whenever it is "eatin" time he gets really excited and leans forward in his high chair with mouth wide open. And if you dont get that spoon in there fast enough for him he will start to fuss. Finally, he can now roll front to back and back to front! So BIG things are happening over here at the Dockendorf mansion.

CeLes came to town.

Last week was great, my sis came to visit me and the fam. It was so wonderful having her here, except that it just reminds me of how much I really miss her. Henry and I both came down with a cold which was a bummer and the weather decided to rain a lot, but nevertheless we had fun! We cooked and baked and played with Henry... it was Jared's dream. Ha! We bundled up the babe and headed to the local pumpkin patch to take some pictures.... here are some cute ones from the patch.

Toes.

Wow, I hadn't realized how much time I had let lapse since my last post. Definitely time to post some new pictures and updates. I wish I could say there has been so much activity over here with the Dockendorf gang that I havent had time but sadly that isnt the case.... There isnt too much going on different from the last posting.

Henry has achieved some new accomplishments however... He has discovered his feet!!! And like most everything else these days, those are also going right into his mouth. Ha! We have tried introducing solids to him but he just hasnt seemed interested enough in the new textures to swallow the food, instead he makes this sour face and spits it out. So I have decided to hold off a bit longer on the food. His teething seems to have backed off for the time being which is good-- that was really taking a toll on him and mama.

As far as what is new with me, well I have been fitting more sewing time in which I thoroughly enjoy and gives me some decompressing time. I have been building up my "inventory" for an event that my good girlfriend is having in Fort Collins at the end of the month. And like I promised here are some recent pictures of the little turkey.

Today is Blue Friday... Henry is all geared up for the Air Force game this weekend!

New Friends.

Well it is official, Henry has discovered the dogs! This past week he will stop everything he is doing when the dogs come near to watch their every move. Rocky and Linus are not real excited about Henry yet, I actually had to bait them a little to get these pictures. I know I cheated.... but Henry was pretty smiley about their meet and greet.

Montgomery Zoo

Saturday was Henry's first zoo experience. It was a lot of fun. He found the monkeys to be particularly interesting and one little monkey came to the edge to check out Henry as well. The weather was warm with blue skies and a light breeze. Henry slept for most of the afternoon in his stroller. The giraffes were by far my most favorite, and Jared insisted I feed them... which was pretty fun! I really enjoyed taking pictures of the zoo animals.
