White sand. Sunshine. Blue ocean. Dolphins. Seashells. Walks on the beach. Shovels. Sunburns.
Those are just a few of the wonderful things that we experienced for my 30th birthday. It couldn't have been a more perfect birthday. Thank you Jared! We had so much fun playing on the beach, sun tanning, and taking morning walks on the beach. I want to go back right now. Henry had such a great time, he discovered his favorite thing - his blue shovel. He has been carrying it around since the mini-vacation. To church, grocery store, bible study childcare, birthday party, car rides, walks around the neighborhood... you name it that shovel has been there! However to every ones dismay he is starting to lose the attachment to it. But it was pretty cute while it lasted.
Henry's newest developmental update: he has taken a couple steps unassisted. Walking around holding onto his walker with a huge grin. So I know it will be a matter of days before he is walking... I don't know if I should be excited or terrified! ha!
