We are so excited about spring. Jared has built me a vegetable garden and I am so eager to begin planting I can hardly stand it. I have been planting flowers like crazy and growing wheatgrass in pots as well as other herbs and things. So much fun. The birdhouse that Doug put up for me on the back fence has 4 new little bluebird babies in it. Just a couple of days before I took the picture of the newly hatched birds Jared and I peaked inside to discover 4 perfect blue eggs.
Henry has been growing like crazy. I cant keep him fed... he is eating us out of house and home. And what a little foodie he is! Loves everything I put in front of him. I did find that he is allergic to eggs one morning after making pancakes for the two of us. He broke out in hives all around his little mouth. I introduced a tiny amount of goat cheese to him two days in a row and he began getting a little rash on his cheeks and it didn't seem to make his tummy feel too well. He has on separate occasions taken multiple steps and continues to try walking every day. Jared swears he said "da-da" to him the other day, but I am not quite convinced seeing that Henry only seems to repeatedly ramble "da da da da" at anything and everything.
Easter Sunday we had such a wonderful time. Went to church that morning and then drove up to visit with my family in Northern Alabama for lunch and dinner. Henry met his little cousins whose ages range from almost 3 down to 7 months. He wasn't too sure about all the activity but was a true sport in putting up with it all.
